The Royal George in Barningham, Suffolk, is a cosy 15th-century village pub full of charm. With its exposed beams, thatched roof, and welcoming atmosphere, it serves up classic ales, hearty homemade meals, and a warm spot for locals and visitors alike. A true gem at the heart of the village.

OUR STORY

The Royal George in Barningham has become a lively and welcoming place since Nick and Bob took over in October 2024. They've worked hard to turn it into a busy, friendly pub where there's always something going on. Along with serving tasty food, they’ve brought in weekly quiz nights, bingo, live bands, and fun themed nights that keep regulars and newcomers alike coming back. Nick and Bob’s passion and energy have made the pub a real heart of the community; a fun, inclusive space full of life, music, and good times.

As well as our beautiful pub, we have a fantastic outside space, throughout the course of the year we will run quiz nights, music nights, themed food nights, all manner of other social gatherings.

You’ll always find a mix of real ales, four premium lagers, a guest lager, plus plenty of wines, spirits, and soft drinks. We love bringing in guest beers from around the UK, while keeping local East Anglian favourites on tap too.
